Our plans for the Future

The childhood nutrition project

Burnley Wide - Maximising the health of our community using the resources we already have, with widespread collaboration, symbiosis, and just a bit of convening power.

UCLAN Medical School

is integral by disseminating their knowledge with a programme of mutual benefit to the students and staff, and to the local community. This involves outreach work to help with health literacy on placement, presenting NHS ratified information for example. The benefit to the student will be in linking their curriculum to the placement so they improve their skills. The opportunities are endless and there is a huge appetite for this work. This work has already started with the support of the University of Central Lancashire Medical School Burnley Campus.
