Dear Burnley Residents

 

Understanding how everyday life and local circumstances shape the health of families in Burnley

We would like to invite you to participate in a research study being carried out at the University of Lancashire. We want to find out what affects the choices that families in Burnley make about their health, and any care they or their family need. By sharing your experiences, you can help us understand the challenges people face, which will hopefully help to improve future support and services for local communities.

This may be followed by a further invitation to volunteer in an in-person focus group (lasting up to 60 minutes) with the researcher and other Participants from Burnley, or a one-on-one interview (lasting up to 60 minutes) with the researcher. Participation in any part of this research is on a voluntary basis; if you would prefer not to participate, please ignore this message.  

 

 

To take part, you should be:

An adult (18+ years) family member, AND

You have been a resident in Burnley for the last three months

 

This study received ethical approval from the University of Lancashire Health Ethics Committee (HEALTH 01389).
